Grafton Lions Participated in the 2014 Blackstone River Valley Greenway Challenge

Members of the Grafton Lions participated in the UniBank Blackstone River Valley Greenway Challenge on Saturday September 27th by manning a transition checkpoint. This first checkpoint is where the bikes transitioned to kayaks. The club was this years Greenway Challange Charitable recipient. As the 2014 Charitable Recipient, the Grafton Lions Club will receive a donation from the proceeds of the 2014 UniBank Blackstone River Valley Greenway Challenge.
The mission of the UniBank Blackstone River Valley Greenway Challenge is to promote the recreational quality of life in the Blackstone River Valley. Working with the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, Inc. and other partner organizations, the UniBank Greenway Challenge supports clean water campaigns, hiking and biking trails, wildlife projects, environmental education and development of waterway access. |
